Walkbot is an advanced Robot-Assisted Gait Training (RAGT) system, classified as a Class III medical device for robot-assisted orthotic exercise therapy.
Designed for patients who have lost their ability to walk due to neurological damage or musculoskeletal disorders, Walkbot is a personalized gait rehabilitation robot system that maximizes treatment outcomes by providing precise, natural walking patterns and a variety of training programs.
Walkbot is the world’s first adult gait rehabilitation robot system equipped with 3-joint gait training technology—hip, knee, and ankle joints—along with an automatic robotic leg length adjustment system and patient-specific gait training functions.
As Korea’s first gait rehabilitation robot system integrated with advanced robotics technology, Walkbot enhances muscle strength and joint range of motion, supporting the recovery of gait function. It has been exported globally, where its superior quality and clinical effectiveness have been widely recognized.
Walkbot K is a gait rehabilitation robot system exclusively designed for children, equipped with a gait algorithm optimized for pediatric patients.
With a playground-themed design and a variety of engaging features, the system creates an enjoyable and comfortable training environment that encourages children to participate in gait training.
The robotic leg length can be automatically adjusted in 1mm increments to match the patient’s leg length, enabling precise alignment with growing children’s joint lengths and accommodating changes in gait training patterns. Walkbot K is suitable for pediatric patients from approximately 3 to 4 years old to adolescents, with a height range of 86 cm to 148 cm.
This is a modular gait rehabilitation robot system that allows interchangeable use of both adult and pediatric robotic training modules, enabling treatment of both adult and pediatric patients within a single system.
The robot module can be switched within approximately 5 to 10 minutes, making it a highly cost-effective model for medical institutions that treat both adult and pediatric patients. Additionally, it features a dynamic counterweight-assisted traction system that not only supports patients during standing but also effectively compensates for excessive vertical movement in patients with pathological gait patterns such as hip hiking.
This is a top-tier export-oriented model equipped with all of Walkbot’s most advanced and globally competitive features.
